A cast-iron type lamp. Just some experimentation in my lounge room when I was procrastinating and looking more in RAW images.

    What’s RAW?

This is very moody. You could take some mad film-noir type shots using this kind of style (perhaps of your dashingly handsome older brother?)

    Hey Benno,
My bad. RAW is a mode on the camera which, unlike jpegs, is uncompressed. It achieves a much more true picture colour-wise, its sharper and clearer and allows for much more ‘realistic’ editing with colour balance, contrast, etc. You get a lot more dynamic range.
It also means that each image (before I convert them to jpegs) is between 11-15MB each.
WOOT. Maybe I can bring my camera on the Bangladesh preparation weekend away.
